Raymond Chan Architect was founded in 1986. The firm is licensed to practise architecture in the states of New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Pennsylvania. In 1993, it established a liaison office in Tianjin, China.
Our extensive experience has allowed us to gained proficiency in all elements of designing. However, Raymond Chan Architect's best known for its crisp, & spatially clean contemporary style designing. Throughout the past decade, we have won many design awards from the quiet design of the "China Buddhist Center" to jazzy "Beama Grill" in Manhattan. We offer our clients high style yet functional design.
The commercial projects which have won design awards include "Asia Bank Loan Center", "Asia Plaza", "Queens Office Tower" and " New York Eye Center" among many others. In 1991, Raymond Chan himself was one of the nominees nominated by the Mayoral Committee to be one of the New York City Planning Commission's committee members.
Our office in Tianjin, China has designed many projects which are total to over 2 million square meters. The type of projects includes residential towers, hotels/resorts, office skyscrapers, grand scale shopping centers and urban planning. One of the residential projects was selected by the world renowned Motorola Company to be its executive residence after the company's years long search.
